Nordic Network for Translation Studies

Translation studies – research on translation and interpretation – is a growing field at universities around the world. Furthermore, courses for interpreters and translators are increasing substantially, and researchers and teachers in the field have a great need for knowledge exchange and cooperation.

Nordic Network for Interpreter Trainers

The Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies takes part in a network of interpreter trainers in the Nordic countries. Starting in May 2011, a two-day seminar has been held on a yearly basis.

Qualitas: Assessing Legal Interpreting through Testing and Certification

The EU Action Grant project Qualitas: Assessing Legal Interpreting through Testing and Certification (JUST/2011/JPEN/AG/2889) is designed to generate knowledge that significantly adds to EU member states' ability to provide reliable interpreting services to the legal system.
