The main research areas of the Translation Studies branch interpreting are conference interpreting, public service interpreting, and sign language interpreting (including deafblind interpreting), but also other interpreting research areas, such as audio description and speech to text interpreting.

The place of work is at TÖI in Stockholm. This call is open to all forms of interpreting and all language combinations; however, projects that investigate interpreting into and/or out of Swedish, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish Sign Language will be prioritized, as will projects relating to existing research at TÖI.
