About us

The Institute for Interpreting and Translation Studies (Tolk- och översättarinstitutet - TÖI) was founded 1986 at the Stockholm University with a national assignment directly from the government to educate translators and interpreters in order to meet Sweden's needs for translation and interpretation services.

Who should be given The Award for Good Teaching? If you are a student who has had a teacher who inspired and motivated you to really learn, or if you are a member of staff who has a colleague who makes outstanding efforts in teaching, just don't hesitate — nominate your teacher or colleague.

The teaching at the Institute for Inerpreting and Translation Studies, Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism will mainly be online during the spring semester.
