These facts emerged when the Institute for Interpretation and Translation Studies at Stockholm University on 16 November 2008 invited researchers in translation studies from Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. More than 30 researchers, from all four countries, attended the seminar. They decided to create TraNor, the Nordic Network for Translation Studies.

E-mail list

The network’s first activities were to create an e-mail list and a blog for its members. The blog is available to the public and can be found at: nordisktranslation.blogspot.com/

Those who wish to be added to the e-mail list can write to Ase.Johnsen@if.uib.no
